Bob Mann (33:26.708)
Hello and welcome again to Flickering Dreams. This is our weekly roundup. We're changing the format of Flickering Dreams as you might notice. So we have separate episodes now for each film we're reviewing, but we'll also have this kind of weekly get together where you can put the film quiz in and look at the top 10 and all of that stuff that those followers will know and love already. So...

This week in terms of the reviews we've put out, we've put out one for the excellent film, Cabrini. We've also reviewed Irish Wish, God help us, on Netflix and Drive Away Dolls is the other film that we reviewed, one half of the Coen Brothers. And that's out in cinemas at the moment. Have you guys seen any other films during the week?

Scott Forbes (34:22.153)
I have caught one. It is called The Bloody Hundredth. Bob, I know yourself, you are the other member on this team that's been watching the Masters of the Air TV series, the Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg series on Apple TV+. So this is essentially a companion piece to that TV series where it's a documentary about the Hundredth group, bomber group. And...

Bob Mann (34:27.919)
Oh, yeah.

Bob Mann (34:35.952)
Mm-hmm.

Scott Forbes (34:50.769)
Yeah, it's like a DVD extra pretty much. We've seen the dramatised version of what's happened, now this is just telling it from the real people. We get some talking heads, the likes of Spielberg pops up and some of the people that were still alive have talked about the bombing in World War II and the Air Force and the planes and some of the people. And it is quite interesting, all narrated by Tom Hanks as well. So yeah, his lovely voice to talk you through that. And it's only a little bit over an hour as well. So...

Definitely one that if you've seen and enjoyed the TV series for an extra hour, chuck this on just for a little bit of context.

Bob Mann (35:26.508)
Yeah, I will definitely do that because I did enjoy the series. Yeah. It wasn't quite up there with Band of Brothers or even the Pacific, but, um, yeah, it was, uh, it was very good. Yeah. Very good.

Scott Forbes (35:33.369)
No, it's definitely the weakest of the three. It's still very good.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (35:40.212)
I tell a lie Bob, which given my title there on the screen, I probably need to confess to. I did see one of the film, which I saw one of the films you were recommending for the nominated Oscar shorts, which was the ABC of Book Banning. And I found it fascinating and frustrating at the same time. They told us which books were banned, which was fascinating. They never really told us why, which was frustrating. It's worth 20 minutes exactly.

Scott Forbes (35:44.449)
Ha ha.

Bob Mann (35:54.647)
Oh yes.

Bob Mann (35:58.178)
Yep.

Bob Mann (36:06.636)
No, I wanted the governors or the people on the other side who'd ban the books to justify why they'd banned the books.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (36:13.432)
to tell us why. Yeah. And that never happened. It's I mean, it's worth seeing, because it is what 20, 25 minutes, but it's fascinating and frustrating in equal measure. So yes, I did see that. I'll just throw that in.

Bob Mann (36:23.641)
Yes.

Yes, indeed. Yes. I wish that had won the Oscar, but it didn't because I had £5 on it to win the Oscar.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (36:31.168)
Right. I think if it had had a little bit more information in it it would have stood a chance. It was a bit vague in places. The Hobbit is banned. Why? I had to look it up. I had to Google it. And yet the film didn't tell me. And that's really frustrating. Exactly. Charlotte's Web. What? Yeah. Comes, you know. The Spiders are scary.

Bob Mann (36:34.095)
Yeah.

Yeah, it was it was it was on tune. Yeah.

Bob Mann (36:45.852)
Charlotte's Web is banned because it has talking animals in it, which are kind of, oh, a little bit demonic, right? So that's about every Disney film is therefore banned because you can't have animals talking in films, can you? I mean, didn't he? Yeah, yeah, good. OK. Yeah. So let's...

Scott Forbes (36:53.561)
Spiders are scary, that's why.

Emma Sewell (36:56.169)
Mm.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:01.428)
Well, I mean, you know, George Orwell got it wrong clearly, didn't he?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:08.814)
Thanks, Bob.

Bob Mann (37:13.924)
tease these people with a little bit of this now.

Bob Mann (37:23.496)
So we're going to do our film quiz. I've got a different variant of it here, which I've called five degrees without Kevin Bacon. I'm not sure. Last week, when we ran when we when we ran the quiz, we scored a grand total of zero points between the teams. So.

Emma Sewell (37:30.515)
Will I be any better at this one, Bob?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:34.272)
I'm just going to offer a quick prayer.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:43.276)
Yeah, but I did claim a moral victory.

Bob Mann (37:45.9)
Yeah, you claimed a moral victory. You actually scored 10, but you had a minus 10 as well. So no, no. I mean, if any of you won Andy, you won. All right. So yeah, I'll just put it out there. So, uh, this one is a little bit different again. Um, it's different because one of the things that you can do in this, um, game is there is no penalty for a wrong answer.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:48.884)
I'm not letting you forget that!

Emma Sewell (37:49.096)
Yeah.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (37:57.38)
First and last time for everything.

Scott Forbes (38:16.048)
Oh.

Bob Mann (38:16.664)
So you can write it. It's still the same format. So you have to try and identify the film and it's a film from the top 1000 movies at the box office of all time. And what you need to do is try and identify the film from cast members in that film. And I'm going to start.

Emma Sewell (38:16.882)
Now you're talking my language!

Rev. Andy Godfrey (38:17.024)
Ooh, exactly.

Emma Sewell (38:38.134)
Oof! Oh!

Scott Forbes (38:38.334)
Interesting, I like it.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (38:39.576)
And I'll give you where we should...

Bob Mann (38:41.86)
further down the cast list, I have to say, and question five will be, as you might guess, the stars of the film. And as always, you get maximum points for guessing the film as quickly as possible, but there is no penalty for a wrong answer, so you can write five films down on your piece of paper. So let's go then with...

Scott Forbes (38:44.897)
Mm-hmm.

Scott Forbes (39:02.253)
Ahem.

Bob Mann (39:04.656)
pair number one.

Bob Mann (39:12.248)
So pair number one in this film and audio listeners, you can play along with this as well It are Simon Farnaby and Matt Lucas.

Bob Mann (39:25.452)
I'll give you 10 seconds to think of a number of an answer and write one down.

Bob Mann (39:38.559)
Right, let's go on to pair number two. And this is Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton.

Scott Forbes (39:54.009)
And so they're all in the same film.

Bob Mann (39:55.664)
They're all in the same film.

Bob Mann (40:01.092)
So we've had Simon Farnaby, Matt Lucas, Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton. Okay. I'm going to go on to pair number three.

Scott Forbes (40:09.433)
Okay.

Bob Mann (40:14.296)
Peter Capaldi and Jim Broadbent.

Scott Forbes (40:20.217)
I think I'm sticking with the same answer from two.

Bob Mann (40:20.612)
So.

Are you, are you?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (40:25.024)
I've not a clue, not a clue.

Scott Forbes (40:25.206)
Hmm

Bob Mann (40:27.612)
OK. You got any ideas, Emma?

Emma Sewell (40:31.526)
I wrote something down already. I was very happy with my answer.

Bob Mann (40:32.864)
You've written something down. You can, you can write as many down as you want in this game. And number four is Julie Walters and Nicole Kidman.

Scott Forbes (40:45.677)
I should have went with it on one. Yeah, I'm pretty confident now.

Emma Sewell (40:51.483)
No, I'm lost now.

Bob Mann (40:52.909)
Hahaha!

Bob Mann (40:56.516)
Julie Walters and Nicole Kidman.

Scott Forbes (40:56.781)
I'm just going to keep writing that same answer again. Yep.

Bob Mann (41:01.824)
And the final answers, Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins.

Scott Forbes (41:12.281)
Forty points, thank you very much.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (41:12.535)
I know this.

Bob Mann (41:15.977)
Oh Scott is sounding very confident.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (41:20.833)
what was it called?

Emma Sewell (41:22.303)
I was so happy with my first answer and then I was like I can't remember if those people were in it. I don't think those people were in it.

Scott Forbes (41:27.297)
Really guys?

Oh.

Bob Mann (41:32.358)
Okay, Andy, I'll give you a count of five for some divine inspiration. Five, four, three, two, one. Okay, you got no ideas. Okay, not clear. Scott.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (41:44.213)
The Men Who Stare at Goats.

Scott Forbes (41:48.057)
Hahaha!

Rev. Andy Godfrey (41:51.976)
No, not a clue. I should know because I count myself as one of Nicole Kidman's biggest fans.

Bob Mann (41:57.032)
Scott and Emma, what have you got?

Scott Forbes (41:59.669)
Emma, do you want to go first?

Emma Sewell (42:01.566)
Well, so my first guess, which I guessed on one, was Wonka because I knew they were both in it. Um, and then sadly my five is Paddington.

Bob Mann (42:15.296)
Okay, Scott, what have you got?

Emma Sewell (42:15.882)
Which I'm hoping is right, I've got no genuine clue!

Rev. Andy Godfrey (42:16.472)
Well, it is patented.

Scott Forbes (42:21.273)
So on question one, I went Wonka as well, but from two onwards, yeah, Paddington.

Bob Mann (42:27.796)
Yes, Paddington. Well done. And indeed, it is Paddington from 2014. Yeah, that is number 586.

Emma Sewell (42:31.874)
GRRR

Rev. Andy Godfrey (42:39.356)
I am just thoroughly ashamed of myself.

Emma Sewell (42:41.858)
It was the-

Scott Forbes (42:42.441)
I'm sure that you guys are gonna get that, yeah.

Bob Mann (42:42.959)
Nicole Kidman. I thought Nicole Kidman was probably the giveaway and all those British stars.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (42:47.512)
I mean my first one I wrote down Shall We Dance? Which was a Timothy Spall film. I thought I was expecting to see Timothy Spall come up. Or Finding Your Feet, yes. So I was wrong anyway, yes. And I also thought about The Duke but.

Bob Mann (42:53.944)
Or is that Finding Your Feet? Isn't it? Yeah, that was what it was. Yes. So for.

Scott Forbes (42:57.521)
Shall we dance as Jennifer Lopez?

Bob Mann (43:03.692)
Yeah. So for that film round, Andy, unfortunately, gets zero points. Emma gets 10 points and Scott gets 40 points and is in the lead. Does his little dance. Okay. Let me. Ooh, hang on a minute. I've lost me mouse. Oh, is it gone? Where's it gone?

Scott Forbes (43:35.193)
I can't remember who Mark Lucas is in Paddington though. The rest of them, yeah. I can't remember him.

Bob Mann (43:41.836)
No, I couldn't remember him either.

Emma Sewell (43:43.878)
He plays someone called Joe because I instantly went and looked it up because I had no idea Nicole Kidman was in Paddington.

Scott Forbes (43:51.417)
She's the main bad villain.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (43:52.104)
Yeah, she was the main villain. Yes. Yes!

Bob Mann (43:52.9)
She's the main baddie yeah. Yeah.

Emma Sewell (43:54.062)
Is she?

Scott Forbes (43:55.061)
Yes!

Emma Sewell (43:57.546)
Clearly I only remember Paddington 2 then!

Rev. Andy Godfrey (44:01.988)
that would have been Hugh Grant.

Scott Forbes (44:03.47)
Mm-hmm.

Emma Sewell (44:05.942)
Yeah, I mean the superior film of the two, quite frankly.

Bob Mann (44:08.704)
It is. It is indeed. Yeah. Right. OK.

Scott Forbes (44:09.049)
I mean, they're both very good.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (44:12.452)
depending on your points of view.

Bob Mann (44:18.276)
I can't get it right. So that's the film quiz and we're going to move on now. Just look at the top 10 box office. This is the week to the 18th of March. So yesterday when we recorded this podcast, and if I pull up the screen.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (44:40.948)
Amy if you're watching my daughter don't disown me please.

Bob Mann (44:48.573)
Here we are.

Bob Mann (44:54.822)
Oh, I've got to click the button. Right, so here's the box office for this week and.

Bob Mann (45:07.552)
No surprise really. Dune Part Two is still at number one for, sorry, third week in the chart and building up quite a magnificent box office of 26 million pounds. I have to say there's few films that you've seen at the cinema in the last three weeks where you haven't experienced Dune because I don't know about you guys, but every other cinema screen you go into, you can hear Dune 2.

through the walls or through the floor. Like last night, I went to see the National Theatre production of Vanya with Andrew Scott. And it was going, boom, all through the quiet bits of this play. I had to put it in my mind that this was the sound of the underground tube stations going underneath the theatre. And that kind of helped a little bit.

Scott Forbes (45:36.258)
Hahaha.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (45:36.416)
Yes. Yeah.

Emma Sewell (45:44.75)
with added sand.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (45:48.312)
Hahaha

Rev. Andy Godfrey (45:58.328)
Ha ha ha.

Emma Sewell (45:58.99)
I'm going to go to bed.

Bob Mann (46:01.44)
At number two in the chart this week is Wicked Little Letters with the wonderful Olivia Colman swearing her foxy ass through the film. And that's four weeks now in the chart. Still at number two, as I kind of predicted, it's built up quite a nice little silver dollar following there through word of mouth. Over seven million pounds at the box office. Still there at number three, seven weeks in the chart is Migration.

Uh, over 19 million pounds now that's made. Isn't it? Yeah. Like it's not the school holidays yet. You can quite imagine. I mean, that's probably going to stay in the charts now until Easter, isn't it? And then run through the Easter holidays.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (46:33.252)
That is staggering that film is still in the charts and riding so high.

Emma Sewell (46:37.403)
Mm.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (46:41.462)
Alright.

Emma Sewell (46:46.934)
I would think so.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (46:47.104)
I mean, bear in mind the times in which we live and you've got things like the new Chicken Run film on Netflix so you can watch it home and so on. To see this doing so well is, maybe it's a good sign that parents are taking kids to the cinema and introducing them to the cinema, but it's staggering.

Bob Mann (47:01.552)
think so.

It is, isn't it? And number four, also doing really well and sticking there in the cinemas is Bob Marley, One Love. I did actually get to see this at last this week and I kind of agreed with you guys that it was a biopic, sorry, biopic, we're supposed to say now. And it was. Okay, but I didn't think it was anything particularly miraculous or special about it.

£16 million that's made. So again, some, some very good business being done in UK cinemas at the moment, even, even kind of in the post-Oscar lull. And number five is the film we reviewed last week, which is Imaginary dodgy horror film, the first of a number of horror films, or of a number of films featuring imaginary friends and, uh, second week in the chart. At number six is that

film Drive Away Dolls, which you'll have to watch the review because Andy has a rant and Scott tries to defend it. Not a film which is...

Rev. Andy Godfrey (48:15.04)
no Scott defended it let's just be Scott didn't try to Scott did defend it I mean point pointlessly

Bob Mann (48:17.792)
Yeah, Scott did defend it. No, no, he did defend it. He has his view. You like Marmite Andy, Scott doesn't like Marmite Andy or vice versa. Well, there you are. There you are. Right. Okay. Drive Away Dolls.

Scott Forbes (48:32.949)
It's not quite Zone of Interest level arguments, let's be fair.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (48:33.602)
I hate Marmite but there you go. But Scott did do a good job of defending it I will say.

Bob Mann (48:38.58)
Driveaway dolls is Marmite at the movies clearly. At number seven is a fabulous film. Again, we reviewed last week, it's Monster and the Japanese language film as a Japanese language film with subtitles. It's obviously not going to do fantastic business, but it is a fantastic film and one certainly worthy of your movie dollar. That's at number seven. Number eight is the Zone of Interest. Again,

Scott Forbes (48:38.793)
Oh, thank you very much, you're too kind.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (48:40.868)
Yeah.

Bob Mann (49:06.644)
seven weeks in the chart doing its Oscar kind of rounds again, over three million pounds that's made. The big surprise I think is, well maybe it's not a big surprise, but there's been a lot of Oscar films re-released, one of which is Oppenheimer and clearly a lot of people have been to see Oppenheimer because it's made number nine in the charts again.

Emma Sewell (49:29.61)
I think it was quite a good call by, I'm not sure if every Cinema chain did it, but Cineworld certainly re-released all the Oscar noms. Yeah, I mean, and it's clear, like when Zone of Interest happened, I just couldn't find it anywhere to watch. It was an absolute nightmare, and clearly they have an audience.

Bob Mann (49:37.252)
Hmm. Yeah. Everyman have released a lot of the Oscar noms.

Bob Mann (49:55.656)
You just have to win an Oscar and you get to see it in Cineworld. Yeah. Yep. So Oppenheimer is at number nine. That's made just short of 60 million pounds now, 35 weeks since its release. It says weeks on release.

Emma Sewell (49:58.201)
I'm sorry.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (50:09.772)
The rumour is that Christopher Nolan's next project is going to be a remake of The Old Prisoner, the TV series with Patrick McGoohan. And number 6 apparently, according to what I've been reading, he's going to redo The Prisoner, which will be fascinating.

Bob Mann (50:16.014)
Really?

Bob Mann (50:23.028)
It will, won't it? Yeah. And at number 10, still clinging on there. Will it be able to cling on in the top 10 until Easter is Wonka 15 weeks in the chart just ahead of Oppenheimer in terms of UK revenue with 63 million pounds. But

Rev. Andy Godfrey (50:29.024)
Hahaha.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (50:43.756)
I still find that staggering. That's a children's film. Migration is a children's film. Wonka is clearly the better of the two films, I would have said. And yet look at their positions and look at who's going to see them. It's just really, really interesting that the two children's films on that list.

Bob Mann (50:56.716)
Well, well, I mean, to I mean, to be fair, one has been out twice as long as migration. The fact it stayed in the in the charts for 15 weeks is astonishing, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, indeed. Right. So that is the

Rev. Andy Godfrey (51:06.216)
Yeah, well, that's true. Yeah. But it is interesting. Yeah.

Bob Mann (51:19.02)
the top 10 for this week. Coming out on Friday, it's clearly Ghostbusters, Icy, Icy Kingdom or whatever it's called. What's it called? Frozen Empire.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (51:28.708)
Frozen Empire.

Emma Sewell (51:31.022)
Or what I like to imagine is Ghostbusters Afterlife combined with Geostorm. That trailer was definitely Geostorm 2.

Scott Forbes (51:38.617)
Ha ha.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (51:38.948)
Hahaha!

Bob Mann (51:39.172)
Oh, it's a mashup that nobody ever asked for or nobody ever wanted. Yes, indeed. I mean, I mean, do you, do you want this one?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (51:46.052)
I love the Ghostbusters films. Yeah, I want this one. I want to see this. I want this to be good. I loved Afterlife. I thought Afterlife was great. Yeah.

Emma Sewell (51:47.088)
I wanted it Bob, I wanted it.

Scott Forbes (51:48.033)
Yeah, I think it's gonna be good. The first one was good. Definitely.

Bob Mann (51:55.)
Did you? I can't remember, which means that I was probably a bit iffy about it. Oh, it was. Yeah. So, yeah. So we'll see what this is like and form a judgement. I have a feeling I might be on the back foot here in the film's support. Any other business? Emma, you...

Scott Forbes (51:57.113)
Did you not?

Emma Sewell (52:00.024)
Such good fun!

Scott Forbes (52:00.598)
Ah, yes, really good.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (52:01.476)
Lovely tribute to Harold Ramus at the end. Beautiful. Yeah, I cried. Yeah. I'm looking forward to this.

Emma Sewell (52:04.846)
Cries, ah, beast.

Bob Mann (52:22.484)
sent a message to our private group in the week about the number of dodgy sequels coming out.

Emma Sewell (52:30.958)
Honestly, so we're obviously discussing things that are coming up to like make early predictions for awards and just some of the things that just terrifying. So like discounting actual new films, like original, we'll say original, original films. I made it, I went through everything. So this is not just things that are for next year. This is...

Bob Mann (52:37.388)
Oscar predictions, yeah.

Emma Sewell (52:59.062)
just horrifying things I found. So I put the horror film Bambi the Reckoning on the chat, which I mean, I haven't seen Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey yet. So I feel like that's a double bill waiting to happen. I mean, it sounds like it. It sounds like it.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (53:16.238)
I have.

Bob Mann (53:16.922)
Is it made by the same people?

Scott Forbes (53:19.157)
Yeah, I think it's because of the copyrights went now so it's open. There's going to be a Steamboat Willie horror film as well. All these really low budget schlocky people that are just taking advantage.

Bob Mann (53:20.676)
I mean, it does sound like it, doesn't it?

Emma Sewell (53:28.142)
Yeah. And so I shared that unnamed Steamboat Willie horror film. I mean, I hope that poster is accurate because the poster on that on IMDB is hilarious. But...

Rev. Andy Godfrey (53:44.068)
I mean there were people who count the original Bambi as a horror film. There were some listings, you'll find it listed as a horror film in some listings because of the scene where... with spoilers, but yes, ruined my childhood, that film, yeah absolutely.

Bob Mann (53:47.661)
Well

Bob Mann (53:52.612)
Certainly horrified me.

Bob Mann (53:57.997)
Hmm. Yeah. That and that bloody ditch cutter in Ring of Bright Water. Yeah. Utterly traumatised.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (54:01.06)
Ha ha

Emma Sewell (54:03.907)
So I found some sequels that are coming and remakes which I thought, some of them interesting, annoying, terrifying. So I shared Planes, Trains and Automobiles which has got Will Smith and Kevin Hart against it. Remake of Anaconda.

Bob Mann (54:12.76)
Go on then, shockers.

Bob Mann (54:17.636)
Shocking. Oh.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (54:26.817)
Yeah, we really needed that.

Emma Sewell (54:27.021)
Den of Thieves 2, which I'm sure has been on the cards since one. I don't know why we need a two.

Bob Mann (54:32.505)
Oh, Den of Thieves, yes.

Emma Sewell (54:35.138)
with um, Gerard Butler.

Scott Forbes (54:35.309)
That was quite a fun film.

Bob Mann (54:37.493)
I quite like Den of Thieves, yes. I vaguely remember. I can re- it's Netflix and I can remember it a couple of years later so that must mean something.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (54:38.529)
It was alright, I don't think we need a sequel though.

Scott Forbes (54:39.113)
Yeah.

Emma Sewell (54:39.818)
It was garbage. It was garbage.

Emma Sewell (54:48.558)
A remake of Don't Tell Mum the Baby-Sitter's Dead. Escape from Earth, which has him reprising his role from Escape from New York or whatever those... Kurt Russell. Yeah.

Bob Mann (55:04.068)
Oh, really? Kurt Russell? Escape from Earth. That's right.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (55:05.685)
Oh, okay. So it's in that, that sequence, right?

Emma Sewell (55:09.406)
um uh what have we got there was some awful Live action Lilo and Stitch is still terrifying to me. Saw 11 i mean i thought we were done but okay Smile 2.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (55:11.108)
Snake Plissken.

Bob Mann (55:17.556)
Oh my god.

Scott Forbes (55:22.493)
No, we talked about this Emma. We talked about there being an unnamed Saw sequel after how much we loved the last one.

Emma Sewell (55:27.758)
Ah, okay. I've clearly tried to erase that from my mind. Remake of Roadhouse. There's... Yeah, there's... There's Shrunk, which is a follow-up to like the Honey... I Shrunk the Kids films.

Scott Forbes (55:30.893)
This has hope.

Scott Forbes (55:39.261)
That's coming in the next few weeks, isn't it? On Amazon. Jake Gyllenhaal, that could be good.

Bob Mann (55:52.788)
A follow up? Or just a remake?

Emma Sewell (55:55.086)
I... No, it does... I think it is a follow-up.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (55:56.36)
There were several of them, weren't there? There were several, hadn't you? I shrunk the kids' films.

Scott Forbes (55:57.877)
Yeah.

Bob Mann (55:58.2)
Honey, I blew up the kid. Honey, I shrunk the dog, wasn't I? Yeah.

Scott Forbes (56:02.793)
Oh, if Rick Moranis comes back, that might be nice.

Emma Sewell (56:02.913)
Mm. Um.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:04.556)
Honey, I shrunk the budget was another one.

Bob Mann (56:06.705)
I thought Rick Moranis had kind of retired for good, but...

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:11.192)
That was me being funny.

Scott Forbes (56:11.377)
I'd like to see him come back.

Emma Sewell (56:13.306)
The other ones I thought were like super weird remake of Three Men and a Baby with Zac Efron I'm not feeling it. An Accountant sequel. Now I liked The Accountant with Ben Affleck

Scott Forbes (56:14.486)
I got it Andy.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:21.063)
No, thank you.

Bob Mann (56:22.081)
No, thanks.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:26.392)
Yeah, it was okay.

Bob Mann (56:26.616)
Did you? You were the only one.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:29.228)
No, it was alright. I quite... it was alright.

Emma Sewell (56:33.222)
There's a My Spy 2 that is called The Eternal City. I'm happy about that, I really enjoyed it. A remake of Train to Busan.

Scott Forbes (56:37.238)
Batista.

Hmm.

Bob Mann (56:47.789)
Remake? Oh, an American remake.

Scott Forbes (56:48.626)
Is it English language? Of course it is.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (56:49.096)
Already.

Emma Sewell (56:50.154)
Yeah, an English language version. Triple X 4. A live action Sword in the Stone. Now that is one of my favourite Disney films. So that is greatly upsetting. But also a new Final Destination, so I'm quite excited for that one.

Scott Forbes (57:00.749)
Hmm.

Scott Forbes (57:04.141)
Hmm, interesting.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (57:04.212)
Yeah. Turn it.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (57:12.06)
I quite like the Final Destination films.

Bob Mann (57:12.833)
Oh, they are quite gory fun. Uh, the tech, is it six?

Scott Forbes (57:15.289)
How many have there been though? I feel like I lost track after about 4. Nah I'm sure there's more than that isn't there? Oh.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (57:17.4)
six there was six I think Scott I've got them all on the shelf behind me I could check but thanks I thought the last one was very clever the way it ended if you remember the very last one ended where the first one began which was great really clever yeah

Emma Sewell (57:21.442)
Yeah.

Emma Sewell (57:31.448)
Yeah.

Scott Forbes (57:32.662)
I don't think I saw the last one.

Emma Sewell (57:34.358)
Yeah, I really enjoyed that. And just, so that's it on the sequels and remakes. But I also, oh, what's that?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (57:39.369)
There's one you haven't mentioned Emma. Kingdom of Planet of the Apes.

Emma Sewell (57:44.778)
Oh, well, I was only mentioning the dubious ones that I wasn't a fan of. That's gonna be high up on my list.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (57:47.196)
Oh, okay, because I can't wait for that. I'm really excited. Yeah, I can't wait for Kingdom of Planet of the Apes. Yeah. The original 68 film is in my all time top 10 ever since I saw at the cinema. And I can't wait. I think that they are building nicely towards it seems to me that they are trying to build towards Charlton Heston arriving. I wouldn't be surprised if the next one ends with Charlton Heston arriving on Planet of the Apes.

Bob Mann (57:48.452)
That's us. I. Yeah, I saw the I saw the cinema trailer the other day and I thought this looks a solid good film. Yeah.

Scott Forbes (57:55.545)
It looks amazing.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (58:16.78)
you know, but I can't wait. It looks great.

Bob Mann (58:17.758)
Maybe.

Good, good, good.

Emma Sewell (58:21.926)
The last thing I want to share with you are films I will be watching and I will make you listen to me review them Here are the highlights Chum obviously a shark movie What we've got Cinderella's Revenge Don't know what that is, but that sounds good Killer Witches from Outer Space Jurassic Exorcist Nano Shark

Bob Mann (58:37.574)
Might be about a dog, dog food.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (58:50.686)
Oh, good grief.

Emma Sewell (58:51.746)
Pandasaurus. A bunch of Christmas films

Rev. Andy Godfrey (58:56.376)
Well we've got Kung Fu Panda 4 out haven't we this weekend? So, Pandasaurus

Scott Forbes (58:59.884)

Bob Mann (59:00.576)
Yep, coming out for Easter.

Emma Sewell (59:01.89)

Scott Forbes (59:02.617)
Don't want to mix those two up, I don't think.

Scott Forbes (59:08.345)
Nice.

Bob Mann (59:30.356)
Okay. Your cinematic soul is going to need a lot of prayer, Emma.

Scott Forbes (59:30.634)
A list of those then.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (59:31.313)
Where and when will you be watching?

Emma Sewell (59:34.382)
I...

Rev. Andy Godfrey (59:38.079)
Oh wait, yeah.

Emma Sewell (59:38.512)
I don't know how I'll be watching this but I will be scouring the earth for them.

Bob Mann (59:42.008)
Hehehehe

Scott Forbes (59:43.533)
They will be free on YouTube at some point soon.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (59:45.22)
I'm just thinking demon possessed dinosaurs.

Bob Mann (59:50.752)
Hmm. That doesn't bear thinking about.

Emma Sewell (59:51.658)
I mean, Velocipasta was fantastic, so I'm hoping for something similar.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (59:55.073)
Not seeing that.

Scott Forbes (59:55.865)
Loads of people recommended that to me but I didn't see it anywhere. That's the interesting use of the word.

Emma Sewell (59:59.47)
It's a classic.

Bob Mann (01:00:04.351)
Okay guys, well thank you very much. My thanks to Andy Godfrey. Oh yeah, sorry, one more.

Scott Forbes (01:00:09.69)
There is one massive bit of news that came out today for fans. It's almost certain now that we've got a new James Bond. It looks like the role has been offered to Aaron Taylor Johnson. Not my choice, but not a bad choice, I don't think. Yeah, he's got to sign on the dotted line, but it looks like that's a sign sealed delivered.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:00:19.95)
Yes.

Bob Mann (01:00:20.325)
Oh, of course we have.

Emma Sewell (01:00:21.76)
Oh!

Bob Mann (01:00:26.55)
Yeah.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:00:31.076)
can be very interesting.

Scott Forbes (01:00:36.817)
new piece of casting. So well, I heard rumors that they're going to go back in time, make it a bit of a period piece.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:00:37.292)
Where do they go with the story after the last one? It's going to be fascinating to see.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:00:45.004)
Well, my thinking is the very last line of No Time To Die was Madeline says to the little girl, I'm going to tell you a story, a story about a man, his name was Bond, James Bond. That's where I would begin the next film and then I would go back in time and have her telling the little girl stories about her dad. That's how I would do it. Because that would then link in to the end of No Time To Die.

Scott Forbes (01:01:03.617)
Yeah. Ooh.

Interesting. Yeah?

Emma Sewell (01:01:10.102)
lol

Scott Forbes (01:01:12.793)
CLEARS THROAT

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:01:14.112)
and make sense. I'm going to tell you a story she says to the little girl about James Bond. So I would start with that scene and then I would do if it was me I would do a flip back even perhaps before the time when James became 007. But if you think of the start of Casino Royale we never really get the backstory as the Daniel Craig version of Casino Royale not the other one. We never really get the backstory what that mission was. So I would go the little Madeline telling the little girl a story about her dad.

and then we go back in time. That's how I would do it. And as you say, Scott, that would tie in with the idea of it being a period piece, which would be interesting.

Bob Mann (01:01:51.34)
I don't know it really matters at the end of the day, does it? I mean, Madame Web may pop up and say, hey, I'm in a different multiverse now. Look, we've got a James Bond too. Here he is. And he steps out of the shower like Bobby Ewing. And everything is right with the world.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:01:53.792)
Well, I think he does to Bond fans, Bob. To die out Bond fans, I think he does.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:06.109)
Oh my word, Bond in the multiverse.

Scott Forbes (01:02:11.613)
Aw come on Andy, a Bond multiverse film would be amazing. Get Pierce, get Craig, Timothy Dalton's still alive.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:12.619)
Oh.

Bob Mann (01:02:15.168)
A Bond Multiverse.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:19.192)
George Lazenby.

Bob Mann (01:02:20.12)
George Lazenby, yeah.

Scott Forbes (01:02:22.825)
I mean, that wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Emma Sewell (01:02:23.39)
CGI some older characters.

Bob Mann (01:02:24.116)
Oh, that would be an awful idea. Let's not even whisper that.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:25.212)
I've met George Lex and he's a really nice guy.

Scott Forbes (01:02:31.821)
That would be great! That would make so much money! Can you imagine the poster or the trailer would be huge?

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:34.209)
Ian Fleming is... Ian Fleming is spinning in his grave right now.

Bob Mann (01:02:40.935)
Oh, yes, they all come out the multiverse together to defeat a rogue AI. Yeah. Okay. Rogue AI helped by their imaginary friend. That's, that's where it's going.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:48.256)
A rogue AI Blofeld.

Rev. Andy Godfrey (01:02:53.952)
and the cat turns out to be the cat in a... Blofeld's cat turns out to be a relative of the cat in Argylle. Ha ha ha.

Scott Forbes (01:02:54.166)
Okay.

Bob Mann (01:02:59.784)
